Taiwanese Freedom Fighter
Well, it's taken a long time, but I finally managed to reach some Taiwanese (not via IRC, which is where I normally go to meet foreigners), and within that, some who were willing to chat about politics, and within that, some who actually supported liberating people, and within that, one who was willing to start a blog. Her name is Trinity. It is a struggle for her to write in English, so I hope you all appreciate the effort she has made, and I hope you will go and visit her blog and leave a comment welcoming her to the tribe of antisubjugators.
Perhaps you can also tell her under what circumstances you are willing to help defend her freedom from attack, and whether you would be willing to risk nuclear war with China to protect her. That should be interesting. Make sure you mention which country you are from as well! If you have any questions you'd like to ask, be sure to do that too, as it may help guide her future posts.
I hope in the future we can get more pro-freedom Taiwanese bloggers on board, and together we can figure out a common approach to resolving the issues that confront us. I also hope that we can get some of this stuff translated into Chinese for mainland Chinese consumption, so that they can better understand what is happening.
I notice my last comments section went completely through the roof with what seems to be the arrival of a conservative commenter to my blog. Great to see you there Lee! I can no longer afford to devote my time to running over the same endless arguments with brain-dead lefties and have to instead spend my time on finding the swing voters so that I can present my case. Or to simply get the already-on-board people like Trinity to flesh out their views/logic, and then express it in a blog. Having a Taiwanese woman is really great. It'll be interesting to watch US Democrats trying to spin her as a testosterone-filled warmonger bent on imperialism. Who knows - maybe the poor Democrats will finally have to present an argument, directly to Trinity, as to why only white people deserve freedom, and people like her, the South Vietnamese and the Iraqis need some sort of sadistic dictator to keep them in line. Should be amusing. Or sad. Depending on whether you care about millions of human beings living in slavery because of racist US Democrats.
Anyway, next challenge is to get a Fijian blogger active. Today I finally opened Yahoo Messenger contact with my old neighbour from Fiji. But I now need to spend time getting them used to the computer, then finding out what their political views actually are, and then getting them blogging.
Don't you think it's one hell of a coincidence that the world is just coming online now, creating an environment of totally free inquiry, just when we obtained the ability to actually liberate the world if we can present the required logic? You really believe that 13.7 billion years of completely random evolutionary/universe history has all led to this point? It's one hell of a stretch! And also not factual.
